Guards for Medium - Small Drills

• The PTR 04 protects operator from direct contact with rotating spindle parts and the projection of swarf and coolant.

• Guard attaches to the left hand side of the machine(see point 1 on Diagram).

• The screen is semi octagonal and is made using top quality polycarbonate ensuring "Shock proof" resistance and excellent visibility.

• The guard is highly adaptable to your machine, The semi-octagonal shield an be adjusted vertically in two different ways:

1)It can be adjusted by points 4 or 5 on shield arm (see Diagram below)

OR

2) It can be adjusted using the support clamp on the inside mounting plate (point 7 on Diagram) or the outside mounting plate(Point 8). This allows a variety of horizontal adjustments to be made.

• We can modify guards as needed as well as providing tailor made mounting brackets.

• Comes complete with safety micro switch conforming to EN 1088. The micro switch will stop the machine from operating when the guard is in the open position.

• We can guarantee our "Next generation" standard guards do not disrupt the operators workflow whilst maintaining maximum safety at all times.

• All "Next Generation" Machine guards are in conformance with P.U.W.E.R (1998) and come with a certificate of conformity.
