After a busy week, Sponmech Safety Systems were proud to sponsor Stourbridge Running Club’s annual race the ‘Stourbridge Stumble’ at the weekend (08/08/2015).
The Stumble is a scenic, multi-terrain race which attracts over 300 UK runners a year.
The race starts and finishes in Mary Steven’s Park, in the heart of Stourbridge in the Black Country.
Runners at the event took home prizes including crystal glassware.
Stourbridge Running Club has been hosting the event for nearly 20 years, and it proves to be growing as a popular race for Midlands based runners. Machine safety specialists Sponmech Safety Systems were at the event to show their full support to their local running club and all of its attending racers.
“As a running-enthusiast myself, I can appreciate the hard work that goes into hosting and coordinating a race such as the Stourbridge Stumble. Sponmech are proud to sponsor Stourbridge Running Club and are happy to help facilitate these events”. David Sheppard, Managing Director, Sponmech Safety Systems Ltd.
The race was accompanied by beautiful weather and local residents who had showed up to support the racers.
Sponmech provided all of the Start/Finish banners to the event organisers, along with the use of their company van for event transportation.
