Sponmech Safety Systems Ltd manufacture, supply and install a comprehensive range of grinding machine guards to suit virtually all types and sizes of cylindrical, tool & surface grinding machines including Jones & Shipman, Elliot & Churchill. These are available with or without electrical interlock systems. Specially designed/bespoke grinding machine guards are also available.
• Protects the operator's face from the projection of sparks and emery.
• It's distinct multi-adjustable hexagonal arm structure allows for an easy fit on a large number of grinding machines.
• This impressive arm structure enables excellent variability. For instance, this product can be used on machines with the grindstone in the “overhang” position.
• The hinge that supports the protective shield is integrated with a safety microswitch conforming to EN 1088.
• High quality build ensuring maximum protection
• Operator friendly and does not restrict flow of production.
• All "Next Generation" Machine guards are in conformance with P.U.W.E.R (1998) and come with a certificate of conformity.
